National Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, between September 15 through October 15, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month recognize the achievements and contributions Hispanic Americans have made to society and culture whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.  The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

Explore and discover documents, exhibits, films, blog posts, and more from the National Archives and Presidential Libraries to learn more about how these heroes have inspired others to achieve success.  Visit the National Hispanic Heritage Month website
