National Bike Month, established in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists, is celebrated throughout the month of May to showcase the benefits of bicycling and encourage everyone to give biking a try. Join the movement for safer streets, connected communities, a healthier planet, and happier people. There are many ways to celebrate, including riding a bike for fun, fitness, with family, and commuting to work.
